Remuse Collective T-Shirts

Remuse is a new artist collective brand offering sweat-shop free t-shirts (American Apparel, I believe) that are released seasonally. Remuse designs are meant to inspire the pondering of everyday life both subliminally and direct.

Like myself, they hail from outside Philly & also seem to share my glass half-empty view of where society is headed. They intend to encourage awareness of societys decline through their work.

I think the artists at Remuse are off to a great start.

The Piping Hot Lounge with Rachel Zoe

On November 30th, 2011, fans lined up to meet Guest Editor Rachel Zoe at the Piping Hot Lounge where she showed off her picks from Piperlime.com. She autographed gift cards and took photos with fans and even gave away some of her picks to some very lucky guests! Heres a glimpse into the action…

Fans waited anxiously for the party to start. And inside was a DJ spinning beats and goodies just waiting to be given away!

Rachels right-hand men came along to party and mingle. Rodger Berman chatted with fans while Joey had fun at the photo booth.

Marni for H&M

The news yesterday that Marni will create a spring collection for H&M doubtless spurred countless man-repelling design aficionados (aficionadas?) to clear their calendars for March 8, 2012. Marni, the Italian line designed by Consuelo Castiglioni, is beloved for its colorful and playful yet perfectly elegant approach to clothing and accessories. The press release promises that the collection will emphasize “Marni staples, with full pleated skirts, dresses, cropped pants and jacquard knits; fabrics range from silk to crisp cotton poplin,” and will also feature shoes, bags, and scarves.
