His methodical interpretations of rock & roll have made John Varvatos one of the more coveted designer to raise from the American fashion scene. Mens wear in particular, where there was virtually no labels or designers in between the preppy high society look promoted by Ralph Lauren and the likes, or the rugged everyday wear found on Levis and Gap. This week was filled with many sneaker surprises on the site to say the least. We received our first look at the Air Jordan 14 Light Graphite/Midnight Navy-Black and notified you of the Space Jam Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Stateside release date. We also constructed features centered around the NBA Draft, the best sneakers to release this year (so far) among other things.

Bergdorfs website says: Italian designer Valentino Garavani held his first significant show in 1962 at Florences Pitti Palace, an appropriate setting for his opulent collection. Gorgeous lace, feminine details, gossamer-like chiffon, and a vibrant shade of red were Valentinos hallmarks. Today, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli honor the houses heritage while adding more modern touches. Indeed with lace and flowers, this is trademark Valentino. If it were Valentino red, itd be even more Valentino, if thats possible.

With a two-tone net lace upper, smooth calfskin piping and a fishnet-wrapped hush-hued chiffon rosette, this is a beautiful shoe.
