This is totally NOT the outfit I imagined wearing a dressy pair of ruched Louboutins with.

In some worlds, a ruched suede Louboutin ankle boot is apparently nearly beach wear.

I say nearly because it is clear from this display that the mannequin, with her straw beach tote and flowy coverup, is about to descend on some fashionable Hamptons patio to have lunch or an early dinner.

I dont know about you, but Louboutins do not usually fall into the I Have So Many I Dont Mind Damaging Them at the Beach category.

But all unrealistic displays aside (after all, what are these windows about besides fantasy and dreams), I do love this boot. I am not a fan of most of the Louboutins for summer, but these are lovely. And they will segue into fall. 

Favorite features: the open toe, the ruching and the twist at the front. An elegant, not-over-the-top .75 inch platform is also nice.

Equivalent to a 4-inch heel (because of the platform), this elegant shoe might een be considered casual for some.
