dpcted T-Shirts – funny text only designs

dpcted t-shirts is a new online t-shirt shop that specializes in humorous text-designed pop culture t-shirts. Although they are just getting started, I think they might be on to something.

Specifically what I like about the little that I have seen, is that they should succeed in reaching some niche audience members online with their clever humor. The bold, sans serif font choice makes it easy to read and looks like they arent trying too hard.

I think most of the time new designs or ideas for t-shirts fail because they dont really make a strong connection to a potential customer.

Forget the TV awards, who picks up prizes for their red carpet look?

IF ever there was a night for showing off your curves and working your booty then it was at the 63rd Emmy Awards in L.A on Sunday night.

I Dont Know How She Does It star Christina Hendricks set the tone and showed the way in a dress that maxed out every inch of her curves.

And she wasnt the only one.

Kelly Osbourne looked amazing in a figure hugging dress and Gwyneth Paltrow made sure she showed off her figure to full effect.

Defunker at Busted Tees

This is a kind of relaunch I guess and it is pretty cool. A few years back Busted Tees had a site called Defunker.com which sold stylish graphic tees as opposed to the slogan/pop culture tees you can find on Busted Tees. The tees were pretty cool but IMO, nothing special. And as far as I remember, they used the same American Apparel tees as on Busted Tees so it was just the designs that were different. This time around though, things have changed. They are using different tee blanks (Alternative Apparel) and the designs are cooler.

Pale Horse Design T-Shirts

Chris Parks, the talented artist behind the amazingly detailed designs at Pale Horse Design, is a self taught illustrator with an impressive portfolio. Chris got his start designing album art for punk and metal bands, and now draws inspiration globally, and has his own studio and exhibits his art globally.
