Hello, beauties! Sorry for not posting in a lonnnnng time. Ive been super busy with all the stuff that comes with moving to a new place (in St. Louis now) and into a new home. Things are finally getting more settled. Im still surrounded by moving boxes but about many of them are unpacked at last. Im hoping to write more regularly now.

I figured it would be good to start by checking in with all of you about summer beauty challenges, considering the huge change of climate Ive been getting used to here. Going from San Francisco to St. Louis in the summer has been a big adjustment. San Francisco tends to be chilly and foggy in the summer; whereas St. Louis is sunny, humid and hot, hot, hot did I mention HOT? how about HUMID? This makes for a major beauty challenge. Talk about makeup meltdown.

I tend to stay in the comfort of air conditioning as much as possible; but one must venture outside on occasion. When I went to a pool party the other evening, I couldnt believe how much I was sweating just sitting there (this after wearing a jacket and scarf on a recent visit to San Francisco). I thought every drop of makeup would melt from my face. Tomorrow I will share some of the ways Ive been looking polished despite the heat.
